On April 1, the 2020 Living Wage rate will be announced. This is based on the average ordinary time hourly earnings at the last June quarter. The Living Wage does not have to be implemented until September 1, by which time all accredited Living Wage Employers must pay directly employed and contracted workers (delivering services on a regular and ongoing basis) no less than the new rate.
If you are interested in becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer, you will find information here.
