Maungakiekie-Tāmaki ward of Auckland City Council is holding a by-election to elect a new councillor. This is an opportunity to show the candidates that voters want a council that pays directly employed and contracted staff enough to live on.
There will also be music and opportunities to find out more about the by-election, and the Living Wage Movement.
