A Living Wage is the income necessary to provide workers and their families with the basic necessities of life. A Living Wage will enable workers to live with dignity and to participate as active citizens in society.
Living Wage rises to $23.65 an hour in September as more employers join the over 300 in the Living Wage Movement.
Workers on the Living Wage are set to gain an extra 90 cents an hour from 1 September this year when the Living Wage increases to $23.65 an hour. That will include those workers contracted on a regular and ongoing basis to, or working for, over 300 accredited employers.Read more
